RECORDER REPORT: PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Thursday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 43170.58 with a positive change of 269.56 and volume of 73,014,400 shares.

High and Low were 43206.33 and 42901.02 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 294,368,900 shares with 373 total traded companies out of which 235 were up, 125 were down and 13 were unchanged.

COMMERCIAL BANKS was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 36,028,600 shares. It was followed by MISCELLANEOUS with a total traded volume of 30,107,300 shares.

The three top traded companies were Pace (Pak) Ltd. with a volume of 28,387,500 and price per share of 13.07 (0.46), TPL Trakker LtdXD with a volume 19,297,500 of price per share of 18.48 (0.98), B.O.Punjab with a volume 18,137,500 of price per share of 18.95 (0.10).

The top three advancers were Nestle PakistanXD with price per share 8700.00 (150.00), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 2110.95 (100.52) and Service Ind.Ltd share of 1477.35 (70.35).

The top three decliners were Philip Morris Pak. with price per share of 2033.01 (76.50), Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 4706.00 (54.56) and Exide (PAK) per share of 1085.10 (37.19).
