ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Market Committee on Monday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super and Kohsar Markets is as under:
Potato per kilogram is Rs 44, Onion Rs 33, Tomato 55, Ginger Rs 165, Garlic (China) Rs 275, Garlic Desi 275, Lemon Rs 130, Lady Finger Rs 54, Green Zucchini Rs 75, Pumpkin Rs 55, Brinjal Rs 32, Peas Rs 155, Farsh Bean Rs 54, Tanda Walaiti Rs 70, Cucumber Rs 54, Capsicum Rs 108/80, Green Chilli Rs 62, Cauliflower Rs 78/50, Cabbage Rs 42, Bitter Gourd Rs 64, Spinach Rs 24/18, Radish Rs 34, Turnip Rs 56, Yam Rs 55, Maroo Rs 58, Carrot Rs 88, Chicken Rs 117 and Egg per dozen Rs 102.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo, Rs 87/60, Apple Gaja Rs 98/60, Apple Golden Rs 76/50, Banana Pak Rs 88/48, Pear China Rs 155/120, Grapes 155/130, Guava Rs 80/55, Pear Desi Rs 74/50, Metha Rs 134/90, Peach Three Step Rs 110/85, Peach Two Step Rs 132/110, Garma Rs 72/54, Mango Nawabpuri Rs 110/75, Mango Chaunsa White Rs 118/80, Mango Chaunsa Black Rs 68/50 and Mango Ratool Rs 120/85.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
