Rs.02mn sanctioned for streetlights in Quetta

street-lightsQUETTA: The Balochistan government has approved Rs.02 million funds for installation of streetlights in the provincial capital.

Sources in the provincial government told APP on Saturday that Rs.02 million funds were approved as about 90 percent areas of the city were deprived of streetlights and street crimes were being reported from these localities.

The sanctioned funds would be utilized for repairing of damaged streetlights.

It is recalled here that QESCO had disconnected connections of some streetlights due to non-payment of electricity bills.
