ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Market Committee on Monday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under:
Potato per kilogram is Rs 35, Onion Rs 35, Tomato 85, Ginger Rs 78, Garlic (China) Rs 260, Lemon Rs 110, Lady Finger Rs 78, Green Zucchini Rs 70, Pumpkin Rs 65, Brinjal Rs 62, Peas Rs 125, Farsh Bean Rs 75, Tanda Desi Rs 85, Cucumber Rs 55, Capsicum Rs 60, Green Chilli Rs 55, Cauliflower Rs 130/80, Cabbage Rs 55, Bitter gourd Rs 65, Spinach Rs 25, Turnip Rs 65, Yam Rs 65, Chicken Rs 148 and Egg per dozen Rs 89.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 160/120, Apple White Rs 100/80, Apple China Rs 220/200, Apple New Zealand Rs 270/240, Banana Pak Rs 160/110, Banana India Rs 175/150, Pear China Rs 170/150, Melon Rs 40/30, White Melon Rs 32/22, Apricot Swat Rs 120/90, Peach Rs 120/80, Garma Rs 45/25, Mango Sundari Rs 160/135, Mango Maldeh Rs 75/55, Mango Langra Rs 80/60, Mango Chaunsa Rs 125/90, Mango Dosari Rs 90/70, Mango Ratool Rs 145/120, Mango Desi Rs 50/35 and Apricot Kabli Rs 225/190.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
