ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Market Committee on Monday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under:
Potato per kilogram is Rs 32, Onion Rs 28, Tomato 36, Ginger Rs 82, Garlic Rs 165, Garlic (China) Rs 165, Lemon Rs 100, Lady Finger Rs 50, Green Zucchini Rs 37, Pumpkin Rs 38, Brinjal Rs 35, Peas Rs 118, Farsh Bean Rs 80, Tanda Walaiti Rs 62, Tanda Desi Rs 74, Cucumber Rs 35, Capsicum Rs 56/40, Green Chilli Rs 40, Cauliflower Rs 70/40, Cabbage Rs 40, Bitter gourd Rs 38, Spinach Rs 37, Turnip Rs 55, Maroo Rs 50, Yam Rs 62, Carrot Rs 55, Chicken Rs 138 and Egg per dozen Rs 81.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 150/130, Apple Ambri Rs 92/62, Apple White Rs 95/65, Apple China Rs 200/175, Apple New Zealand Rs 258/230, Banana Pak Rs 135/95, Banana Ind Rs 175/145, Pear China Rs 170, Melon Rs 38/28, White Melon Rs 35/28, Watermelon Rs 25/20, Sherbuza Rs 35, Apricot Swat Rs 105/85, Peach Rs 100/75, Garma Rs 62/40, Mango Sundari Rs 122/92, Mango Maldeh Rs 67/52, Mango Almas Rs 62/45, Mango Langra Rs 72/55, Mango Chaunsa Rs 125/100, Mango Dosari Rs 74/58, Mango Ratool Rs 128/100, Mango Desi Rs 60/40 and Apricot Kabli Rs 145/130.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
