ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Market Committee on Saturday issued the daily price list of vegetables and fruits.
According to a spokesman, the rate list of vegetables in Islamabad except for Jinnah Super, Super, and Kohsar Markets is as under:
Potato per kilogram is Rs 35, Onion Rs 28, Tomato 30, Ginger Rs 92, Garlic Rs 170, Garlic (China) Rs 170, Lemon Rs 118, Lady Finger Rs 42, Green Zucchini Rs 37, Pumpkin Rs 42, Brinjal Rs 30, Peas Rs 115, Farsh Bean Rs 88, Tanda Walaiti Rs 72, Tanda Desi Rs 72, Cucumber Rs 28, Capsicum Rs 60/40, Green Chilli Rs 55, Cauliflower Rs 76/50, Cabbage Rs 38, Bitter gourd Rs 40, Spinach Rs 36, Raddish Rs 38, Turnip Rs 55, Maroo Rs 52, Yam Rs 67, Carrot Rs 60, Chicken Rs 138 and Egg per dozen Rs 81.
Likewise, he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows: Apple Kala Kulo Rs 145/125, Apple Ambri Rs 88/60, Apple White Rs 95/70, Apple China Rs 205/175, Apple Newziland Rs 260/225, Banana Pak Rs 135/100, Banana Ind Rs 170/140, Pear China Rs 165, Melon Rs 32/22, White Melon Rs 26/16, Watermelon Rs 21/14, Sherbuza Rs 35, Apricot Swat Rs 100/80, Peach Rs 120/90, Garma Rs 62/40, Mango Sundari Rs 138/120, Mango Maldeh Rs 65/48, Mango Almas Rs 60/40, Mango Langra Rs 65/48, Mango Chusa Rs 115/90, Mango Dosari Rs 78/55, Mango Ratool Rs 138/120, Mango Desi Rs 50/45 and Apricot Kabli Rs 145/125.
The spokesman has asked all the people to follow this list and inform authorities at 051-4867762 in case of any compliant against shopkeepers.
