APNS executive meeting on March 15

The Executive Committee of the APNS will meet on March 15, 2004, at Islamabad to discuss the present state of government-press relations along with other organisational issues, stated a spokesman of the APNS.
Muhammad Aslam Kazi, Secretary-General of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society, in a statement has announced that the Executive Committee members from across the country will thoroughly discuss the state of Govt-Press relations prevailing in the country and decide their strategy on issues and matters of concern to the print media.
The Executive Committee will also consider the Annual Report and accounts of the Society and finalise the holding of Annual General Council Meeting. It will also discuss the draft resolution on co-branding of govt/govt commercial and private sector clients and decide convening of Extraordinary General Council meeting. The Committee shall take organisational decisions on the reports of conveners of Scrutiny, Advertising and provincial committees of the Society.
The Secretary-General, APNS, has announced that the agenda and related papers have since been dispatched, and requested all members of the Executive Committee to positively attend the meeting.-PR
