UMERKOT: The government is utilizing all the available resources to extend assistance to the rain victims.
This was stated by a leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Rubina Saadat Qaimkhani, MNA.
She was visiting various camps for the rain victims here on Friday.
Rubina stated that provision of ration, tents and medicines to the victims would continue as far as such as assistance is required.
She made it clear that we will not rest till the rehabilitation of the victims.
Five thousands packets of ration were distributed among the victims in collaboration of the PDMA, district administration and the NGOs.
Rubina said that on the directive of President Asif Ali Zardari a comprehensive scheme is being contemplated for draining out the accumulated rain water.
