Afaq Ahmed detained for 30 days under MPO

KARACHI: Afaq Ahmed, chief of Mohajir Qaumi Movement (MQM- Haqiqi) has been detained under Maintainence of Public Order (MPO) for one month at Landhi District Jail here on Wednesday, Jail authorities confirmed.

The Home Department also issued a notification in this regard.

Sindh High Court had granted him bail on Monday in the last case which was registered against him in the year 2009.
