imagestRAWALPINDI: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday attended a function in Chinese embassy, Islamabad in connection with 62nd National Day of China.

The Chief Minister met Chinese Ambassador in Pakistan, Leu Jian and congratulated him on behalf of President Pakistan Muslim League-N and his own behalf.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Pakistani people are proud of their friendship with China as it has always stood with Pakistan in every hour of trial.

He said that there are unflinching relations of mutual cooperation and friendship between people of both the countries.

He expressed good wishes for the progress and prosperity of the brotherly country.
