RAWALPINDI: Vice Premier of Peoples Republic of China Mr. Meng Jianzhu has appreciated the role played by the armed forces of Pakistan in the fight against terror.

He was talking with General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee(CJCSC) here on Monday.

During the meeting both leaders discussed matters pertaining to mutual interests and the emerging Geo-Strategic situation of the region.

CJCSC on the occasion highlighted the converging interest of Pakistan and China, both in security and economic arenas.
