ANP to extend full support to PM Gilani: Senator Zahid Khan

PESHAWAR: The Awami National Party (ANP) has decided to extend full support to Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on his political decision meant for tackling the existing challenges and creation of national harmony in the country.

In a press statement issued here, Senator Zahid Khan, Central Information Secretary of ANP said that Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Sunday phoned to Central President ANP Asfandyar Wali and sought his advice on the current prevailing situation.

Both the leaders discussed various matters pertaining to Pak-US relations. The ANP president assured Gilani that his party would extend full cooperation and support to him for taking any political decision pertaining to addressing the exiting challenges and creation of national harmony.

Both the leaders agreed that existing challenges could be faced through national unity and collective wisdom. In this connection, the political leadership will not disappoint the masses.
