NADRA sets up six centres to issue Watan Cards

BADIN: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has established six centres here to issue 'Watan Cards' to the flood affectees.

An official of NADRA told APP here Sunday that they have planned to issue 'Watan Cards' to 0.3 million families affected by floods in the district, during next 30 days.

The official said that since the launch of the programme here, NADRA has issued 14,000 cards and these cards were being delivered to the heads of the families after proper verification to ensure transparncy.

The holder of the card could draw up to Rs 20,000 from any bank, he added.

"District Administration of Badin has also been engaged in this whole process," he added.
