LAHORE: Town Emergency Response Committee Chairman Nishtar Town, Naseer Bhutta MNA has said second phase of fogging in government schools located in town areas would be completed on September 24.
Presiding over a meeting of town administration here Thursday, he said, "Only those schools will be allowed to resume which will complete spray and adopt proper precautionary measures," he added.
He said government was utilizing all available resources for eradication of dengue virus and health department, local government as well as elected representatives had been activated in this regard.
The citizens, he said, should take precationary measures and should not let water accumulate in and around their houses. He said sanitation and solid waste management staff was collecting garbage from the houses and and disposing it off in a safe manner.
He also directed the WASA and SWM officials to collect information about buffalos in city areas and take steps for removing cattle headsout of municipal limits.
