PRAGUE: The Czech central bank voted unanimously on Thursday to leave interest rates at an all-time low of 0.75 percent, and said risks to its quarterly forecast are significantly in the direction of lower rates.
Central bank Governor Miroslav Singer, speaking after the decision, said he could imagine rates moving in either direction.
The bank's presentation after the decision said the main anti-inflationary risks were a lower outlook for interest rates abroad and the condition of the financial sector and public finances in developed countries.
The weaker-than-forecast Czech crown currency poised a pro-inflationary risk, it said.
