KARACHI: Inspector General of Sindh Police, Wajid Ali Durrani has directed for taking extraordinary security arrangements at all important and sensitive government and semi private offices, and police installations in Karachi.
In his directives issued on Monday, he said security arrangements should be tightened around residences as well as offices of foreign consulates in the city.
Durrani ordered that places of worship of all religions must also be provided foolproof security arrangements.
The police chief of the province told his subordinates to ensure that secret police service are also assigned responsibilities around important sites.
Durrani urged the force to develop efficient coordination to combat criminals.
This, he said was extremely important in the background of attempt made at the house of a police officer on Monday morning.
The IG Police of Sindh said such attempts could not demoralize the police force and their efforts to eliminate outlaws would continue till complete success.
