Home Department finalises arrangements for computerised licensing

KARACHI: Sindh Home Department on Monday finalised all official arrangements for computerised licensing of arms and ammunition in the province.

Home Minister Manzoor Hussain Wassan on the occasion said computerisation of weapons's licenses was initiated, across the country, on the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari.

He said in compliance to the directives of the president the province has already started issuance of computerised licenses to the applicants.

Wassan said this was extremely essential and in view of security requirements it will enable the government to have a complete data that could effectively deter fake documentation.
