manzoorKARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan Monday announced Rs.2 million each for the heirs of six policemen who lost the life in suicide attack at the residence of SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam in Defence area of Karachi.

Talking to the media during his visit to the place of incident, he said that compensation would be paid to the family of the woman and child who were killed in blast.

Wasan said 64 policemen have lost their lives in the line of duty so far this year.

Minister said that another conspiracy was being hatched against the metropolis. “Terrorists wanted to show that they would not let Karachi remain peaceful.
