Sweden to buy back 2020 linker at 0.285pc yield

sweden-bondsSTOCKHOLM: Sweden's Debt Office said on Friday it would buy back 2020 index-linked bonds at a yield of 0.285 percent in an exchange auction for new 2022 linkers.

The Debt Office plans to buy back up to 5 billion crowns ($755.7 million) in the 2020 linker, which has a coupon of 4 percent, in exchange for the new 0.25 percent, 2022 debt.

The purpose is to build up volume in the 2022 issue.

Results of the auction will be published at 0910 GMT.
