LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 24.65 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5591.23 points and closed at 5615.88 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 483,100 shares to close against previous turnover of 819,700 shares, showing a downward move of 336,600 shares. While, out of the total 78 active scrips only 9 moved up, 12 shed values and 57 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Ferozsons Laboratories Limited, Mari Petroleum Company and Pakistan Refinery Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 20.93, Rs 1.40 and Re 0.38 respectively.
Attock Refinery Limited, Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited and Al-Noor Modaraba lost their per share value by Re 0.92, Re 0.65 and Re 0.30 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 122,000 shares, Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 53,000 shares and K-Electric Limited with 52,000 shares.
