imageISLAMABAD: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), an apex body, Wednesday hailed the decision of Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif for continuation of the operation till the complete elimination of terrorism from the country.

Expressing complete solidarity with armed forces successfully fighting against terrorists and militants, President FPCCI Muhammad Adress while talking to APP said the entire business community was fully supporting the armed forces for crushing terrorists. "We are proud of our armed forces and will continue to extend cooperation for successful operation against militants", he said.

He said that nefarious designs of anti-Pakistan elements would be foiled and the country with the grace of Allah Almighty would ever survive well.

He lauded the services of armed forces personnel who sacrificed their lives while fighting with terrorists.

Vice President SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman United Business Group and veteran trade leader, Iftikhar Ali Malik said that it was high time that the nation as well as all political parties must boost the morale of armed forces and Pakistan Rangers for eliminating terrorists from the country. "In the prevailing critical situation, we should stand united as a nation to brave internal and external challenges", he said.

He lauded that Chief of the Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif had expressed determination to lead the fight against terrorism in partnership with other law enforcement agencies and in line with the constitution.

Iftikhar Ali Malik said that political stability coupled with better law and order, and laced with durable peace was pre-requisite for strengthening of national economy.

Federation VPs Hameed Akhtar Chadda, Haji Sultan Ahmad, Mian Farid Akram, General Secretary UBG Zubair Tufail, Chairman FPCCI committee on Diplomatic Affairs Malik Sohail Hussain, LCCI former SVP Meher Kashif Younis, All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association senior leader Pervez Lala others endorsed the aforementioned views.

They said that they would not allow anyone to play with the destiny of the nation and the business community would fight against militancy.
