LAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) here Wednesday witnessed a bullish trend by gaining 52.89 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6138.11 points and closed at 6191.00 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 6.613 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.286 million shares, showing an upward move of 4.327 million shares. While, out of the total 96 active scrips 26 moved up, 11 shed values and 59 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Glaxo Smith Kline Pakistan, Pak Elektron Limited and Attock Refinery Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 9.55, Rs 4.37 and Rs 4.00 respectively.
Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited, Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited and The Bank of Punjab Limited lost their per share value by Re 0.70, Re 0.48 and Re 0.12 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Silk Bank Limited-LOR with with 5.439 million share, Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 322,000 shares and Pace Pakistan Limited with 141,000 shares.
