LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 7.67 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5846.23 points and closed at 5853.90 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward
trend as it remained at 319,900 shares to close against previous turnover of 764,300 shares, showing a downward slide of 444,400 shares. While, out of the total 74 active scrips only 7 moved up, 19 shed values and 48 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Singer Pakistan Limited, Faysal Bank Limited and K-Electric Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Re 1.00, Re 0.35 and Re 0.22 respectively.
Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Cyan Limited (Central) and Fauji Fertilizer Company were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 8.00, Rs 2.86 and Rs 2.21 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Silk Bank Limited (Saudi) with 55,000 shares, K-Electric Limited with 51,000 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 50,500 shares.
