SIALKOT: The Punjab government has given a special subsidy of Rs4 billion on Aata Package for providing the maximum financial relief to the people, as the quality and standard Aata (flour) at the Sasta Ramzan Bazaars established across the province.

Provincial Finance Minister for Punjab Kamran Michael stated this while talking to the newsmen here today after visiting the Sasta Ramzan Bazaars in Sialkot here.

He said that the provincial government has also made some effective and positive measures to ensure the easy and smooth provision of sugar in bulk in the open markets across Punjab following the special directives of the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, saying that there would be no shortage of flour and sugar in Punjab now.

He said that Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was doing the politics of the principles due to which the rival political opponents were criticizing the provincial government for nothing, in this regard.

Michael alleged that the federal government was providing the substandard sugar at all the Utility Stores in Punjab, saying that the sugar being provided at the Utility Stores was just like a powder and bad in quality, while, the provincial government was providing the thick sugar at the Sasta Ramzan Bazaars across the province.
