PML (Q) to hold All Parties Conference on Karachi's situation
ISLAMABAD: President Pakistan Muslim League (Q) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that PML-Q would convene All Parties Conference (APC) on Karachi situation in order to restore peace in this mega city.
He said this while talking to the leader of Sunni Tehreek Sarwat Ejaz Hussain Qadri on telephone who had called on Federal Minister for Privatization Ghous Bux Khan Mahar at Karachi, according to a press release issued here on Saturday.
Mahar also assured Qadari that the PML (Q) was extending support to all segments of the society to maintain peace in karachi.
National integrity is the need of the hour for strengthening the national economy and national prosperity, he added.
Qadari expressed his gratitude for full support extended by PML-Q leadership for the restoration of peace in Karachi and said that his "peace caravan" was an effort of common citizens and has nothing to do with any political, ethnic or lingual indentity.
Provincial Ministers Aleem Adil Shaikh and Muhammad Ali Malkani were also present during the meeting.
