LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 37.28 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6097.65 points and closed at 6134.93 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.243 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.728 million shares, showing an upward move of 515,060 shares. While, out of the total 113 active scrips 29 moved up, 17 shed values and 67 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Wyeth Pakistan Limited, Honda Atlas Cars (Pak) Limited and Engro Fertilizers Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 105.00, Rs 6.26 and Rs 3.18 respectively.
Ferozsons Laboratories Limited, Engro Foods Limited and D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited were among top three, which lost their per share value by Rs 12.08, Rs 2.04 and Rs 1.43 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 861,000 shares, Silkbank Limited (Saudi) with 221,500 shares and IGI Investment Bank Limited with 192,500 shares.
