FAISALABAD: Livestock department seized more than 1900 kilograms of poor quality mutton and beef last month in the district.
According to DO Livestock, Dr Haider Ali,689 butcher shops were inspected amongst which 112 outlets were selling low quality meat. As many as 76 cases were registered at concerned police stations.
The official informed that the crackdown would continue in the interest of public health.
