ISE-10 index witnesses bearish trend

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday witnessed bearish trend as the ISE-10 index was up by 2.27 points to close at 4378.38 points.

A total of 42,700 shares were traded, which showed a positive growth of 11,600 shares, when compared with Saturday's trading of 54,300 shares.

Out of 165 companies, share prices of 107 companies recorded increase while those of 57 companies decreased.

The share price of Atlas Battery increased by Rs.29.81 while that of Pakistan Tobacco decreased by Rs 44.70. PIA, Bank of Punjab, Byco Petroleum remained the top trading companies with 15,000, 10,000, 10,000 shares respectively.
