Shahrukh Khan wants his movies to be celebrated like a festival

King of Bollywood mostly chooses festival seasons for his movie release. His previous releases including ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Chennai Express’ were released in festival seasons.

When asked SRK if he find festival season more lucky for him he said he wants his film releases to be celebrated like festivals and he doesn’t care much about them releasing on festivals. He also denies ‘slotting’ or ‘booking’ festival dates for releases. Instead King Khan deems the entire practice as dumb and insecure, media reported.

King Khan also said that if the content of the movie has mass pulling it will automatically do well at box office. He seems unaffected by other production houses booking dates for festival season.
