ISE-10 index shows bearish trend

imageISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Stock Exchange(ISE) on Wednesday witnessed bearish trend as the ISE-10 index was down by 0.22 points to close at 4498.24 points.

A total of 58,700 shares were traded, which showed a positive growth of 25,000 shares, when compared with the previous day's trading of 33,700 shares.

Out of 126 companies, share prices of 72 companies recorded increase while those of 54 companies decreased.

The share price of Abbott Laboratories increased by Rs.9.30 while that of Siemens Pakistan Engineering decreased by Rs.53.13 per share.

The Bank of Punjab, Mari Petroleum and Nishat (Chunian) Ltd remained top trading companies with 50,000, 7,600 and 1,000 shares respectively.
