pkISLAMABAD: The Federal Government on Thursday announced that the rates of return on National Savings Schemes shall remain unchanged.

The existing rates of return on different National Savings Schemes are 13.55pc for Defence Savings Certificates, 13.44pc for Regular Income Certificates, 13.33pc for Special Savings Certificates, Account and 9pc for Savings Account.

The rate of return on Pensioner's Benefit Account and Bahbood Savings Certificates, the schemes exclusively meant for Pensioners, widows and senior citizens, shall continue to be 15.36pc.
