ISLAMABAD: Secretary Information Pakistan People Party Qamar Zaman Kaira said on Tuesday that the government want to take along all coalition parties in the smooth running of democratic process and will convince MQM and governor of Sindh to revert their decision.
"We want to eliminate politics of hatred, tension and division. We want to get along with the MQM with the same mandate as we are their allies. We want their cooperation in correcting Karachi situation and we hope we would be able to convince them soon", he said.
Talking to a private TV channel, Kaira said that MQM will hopefully be convinced to rethink their decision to quit the central and Sindh governmant and Ishrat-ul-Ebad will also withdraw his resignation.
Secretary Information said "there are always differences amongst the coalition parties as we have no precedent of such system in our country yet. We are trying to get along with them".
