PPP's Akbar Ibrahim gets 2572 votes

Azad Jammu and Kashmir electionWAZIRABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party candidate Akbar Ibrahim has got 2572 votes against PML-N's Javaid Akhter who achieved 2150 votes in AJK elections seat in Tehsil Wazirabad.

According to the unofficial results, an independent candidate Raja Sikander got 569 votes, Shahzad Ahmed 382 votes, M Ilyas 7 votes and Usman Ali Jaffari 126 votes in the polling held on Sunday.

Former Provincial Minister Shahnawaz Cheema, former MPA Ijaz Ahmed Samma and other dignitaries and office bearers of PPP congratulated Akbar Ibrahim for the success in attaining first position in the polls.
