PM asks Sindh chief secretary to promote harmony between federation, provinces
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Friday asked the newly appointed Chief Secretary of Sindh, Raja Muhammad Abbas to utilize all his abilities for ensuring good governance in the province.
He said being the representative of Federation, he should make efforts to promote harmonious and coordinated working between federal and provincial governments.
The Prime Minister was talking to Raja Muhammad Abbas, the newly appointed Chief Secretary Sindh, at PM House here.
The Prime Minister while highlighting the importance of Karachi as the financial hub of the country said efforts should be made to improve law and order situation in the city.
Raja Muhammad Abbas thanked the Prime Minister for the confidence reposed in him. He assured the Prime Minister that he would try his level best to come up to the expectations of the government.
