FAISALABAD: World Anti Narcotics Day will be observed on Sunday. In this connection, special functions, walks and seminars will be held in Faisalabad like other parts of the country.

The 300-NGO Net Work in collaboration, Anti Narcotics Force will sponsor these events which would be arranged to raise awareness about the harms of narcotics in addition to evolving strategies to weed out the societal evil from Pakistan.

A survey was conducted in 2010 which pointed out that more than 300,000 people are using heroin in Pakistan.
