exideKARACHI: Exide Pakistan has posted a record profit after tax of Rs276.390 million for the year 2011 and declared a final cash dividend of Rs6 per share and 25 percent bonus.

According to financial results of the company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange here Thursday, the pre-tax profit also surged to Rs429.726 million for the period under review against Rs303.554 million last year.

The earning per share was also high at Rs48.92 during the period under review compared to Rs34.92 in 2010.

Exide's sales stood at more than Rs7.711 billion during the year as against Rs6.189 billion last year.
