RECORDER REPORT: KSE close of day

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Friday having 29069.93 shares with a negative change of 280.41 and volume of 186,891,880 shares.

High and Low were 29578.33 and 29018.27 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 269,540,090 shares with 389 total traded companies out of which 197 were up, 172 were down and 20 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 61,253,700 shares. It was followed by Construction and Materials (Cement) with a total traded volume of 43,411,300 shares.
