LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 27.61 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 4930.92 points and closed at 4958.53 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.886 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.548 million shares, showing an upward move of 1.337 million shares. While, out of the total 99 active scrips 34 moved up, 14 shed values and 51 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Nishat Mills Limited and United Bank Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 6.50, Rs 6.40 and Rs 3.73 respectively.
National Bank of Pakistan, Engro Fertilizers Limited and Engro Corporation Limited lost their per share value by Rs 2.75, Rs 2.08 and Rs 1.03 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited (R1) with 2.291 million shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.044 million shares and NIB Bank Limited with 265,000 shares.
