ISE stays bearish

imageISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) Friday witnessed a bearish trend as the ISE-10 Index was down by 24.57 points to close at 4614.38 points.

A total of 400,000 shares were traded, which showed a negative growth of 385,000 shares when compared to previous day's trading of 785,000 shares.

Out of 160 companies, share prices of 45 recorded increase while those of 115 companies decreased.

The share price of Murree Brewery increased by Rs 17.24 while that of Siemens Engineering decreased by Rs 51.5 per share.

Lotte Chemical, Fauji Cement and Lafrage Pakistan Cement remained the top trading companies with 250,000, 200,000 and 178,000 shares respectively.
