Samina Ghurki condemns Bilal Sheikh's assassination

LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party Lahore President Samina Khalid Ghurki has condemned the assassination of Bilal Sheikh, security chief of President Asif Ali Zardari.

Talking to media here Thursday, she said anti-democratic and extremist ideology was behind the terrorism which could only be combat through unity and determination.

She said terrorists could not let down the moral of the PPP workers and fortitude against terrorism could not be weaken by such activities.

Samina paid tribute to Bilal for his contributions for restoration of democracy in the country and express her grief with the bereaved family. She prayed for the deceased and patience for his family.
