KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) closed lower and its bench mark-100 index dropped by 650 points to close at 21048 on Monday.
KSE-30 index closed 506 points lower to close at 16332.14 points while all shares index dropped by 431.66 points.
Out of total 380 active scrips, 46 moved up while 319 shed value and 15 remained unchanged.
Significant increase of Rs 27 was recorded in the stocks of Sanofil to close at Rs 567.39 while the stocks of Crescent Cotton also increased by Rs 2.41 to close at Rs 50.75.
Nestle Pakistan and Colgate Palmolive Ltd lost their per share value by Rs 329 to close at Rs 6251 and Rs 65 to close at Rs 1735 respectively.
Most active trading of 41264000 shares was recorded in Fauji Cement.
Total market turnover remained at 323161260 as compared to previous 276686920 shares.
