Foreign buying up by $5.72mn in local stock market
ISLAMABAD: Foreign buying on Thursday registered an increase by US$5.72 million in the local stock market.
Of total Foreign Investors Portfolio Investments (FIPI), the foreign cooperates have taken the positions worth of US $5.86 million in the market. While, foreign individuals have invested the portfolio of US$24889 in the local bourse.
Besides, the buying by Overseas Pakistani witnessed a decline because they have off-loaded the positions worth of US$0.12 million to book profits.
However, the overall domestic buying registered a decline because the local investors have booked profits by off-loading the majors positions.
Of total Local Investors Portfolio Investments (LIPI), the local companies have taken the positions worth of US$5.72 million while NBFC has invested the portfolio of US$1.52 million on Thursday.
Aside from this, Mutual Funds, individual, banks and other organizations has off-loaded the positions worth of US$5.75 million, US$74,555, US$6.99 million and US$0.15 million respectively.
