Lahore Stock Exchange up by 48.08 points

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 48.08 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4222.20 and closed at 4270.28 points.

The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 6.643 million shares to close against previous turnover of 5.666 million shares, showing an upward move of 976,700 shares.

While, out of the total 100 active scrips, 28 moved up, 52 remained equal with 20 down values.

Millat Tractors Limited, Attock Refinery Limited and Engro Foods Limited were Major Gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs. 7.01, Rs. 6.79 and Rs. 3.26 respectively.

EFU General Insurance Limited, Netsol Technologies Limited and Maple Leaf Cement Factory lost their per share value by Rs. 1.57, Re 0.43 and Re 0.22.

The Volume Leader of the day included Worldcall Telecom Limited with 1.940 million, NIB Bank Limited with 1.093 million shares and Wateen Telecom Limited with 780,000 shares.
