Local groups involved in Karachi unrest: Shehla

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Speaker Sindh Assembly and Leader of Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Shehla Raza on Tuesday said that certain local elements were involved in terrorist activities in Karachi.
Talking to state television, she said that the government had no trust in Taliban as they already had violated the peace agreements in past.
Replying to a question, she informed that local groups were also hired by militants to arrange terrorist activities in Karachi.
She stressed on collective efforts of political parties and security institutions to form anti-terrorism strategy.
Responding to another question, she said that past regime was responsible for terrorism in the country.
