AMSTERDAM: Prime Minister Mark Rutte's centre-right Liberal Party won the Dutch general election on Sept. 12 with 41 seats, official results from the electoral council showed on Monday, followed by the centre-left Labour Party with 38 seats.
The final result dispelled concerns that radical eurosceptics might gain sway in a core euro zone country.
The following table shows the distribution of seats in the lower house of parliament after all the votes were counted and all surplus votes distributed among parties according to an agreed formula.
