APNS advises member publications

Hameed Haroon, President and Sarmad Ali, Secretary General APNS have stated that in view of the pandemic COVID-19, the member publications are advised to take necessary precautions in the production printing functions of their newspapers. This should include, but should not be limited to, keeping your pre-press, press and printing premises regularly sanitized and making your pre-press and press staff equipped with necessary safety gear like gloves and masks.
This is important in view of the fact that during the lockdown and restrictions imposed in the provinces of Sindh and Punjab, the only staffs that are required to attend to their duties are those associated with the production processes of the newspapers. They will regularly come into contact with each other and therefore it is essential for them to be take all safety precautions.-PR
