Talal denies talking against Judges, courts

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry on Friday denied talking against the judges or courts during public meeting or in media talks. "I neither made person specific discussion nor criticize judges during public meeting or media talks, " he said while talking to a private news channel.

The court had sent me a contempt notice, Talal Chaudhry said. "I will face the court according to law regarding notice, " he said.

The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), had expressed reservation over the decision of the courts regarding the matter of disqualification of former prime minister, he said. The PML-N had made struggle for restoration of judiciary, he added.  "My speeches were misreported before apex court," he said.

Replying to a question about tendering apologize before court in contempt case, he said decision would be taken after consulting the lawyer.
