CAIRO: Egypt has filed a legal complaint against a court ruling issued last week that effectively reinstated zero tolerance of the common grain fungus ergot in wheat shipments, Supply Ministry spokesman Mamdouh Ramadan said on Monday.
The government will retain an ergot tolerance of 0.05 percent in shipments, a common international standard, while the complaint is considered, Ramadan said.
