ISLAMABAD: Senate on Thursday unanimously passed four bills.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, presented the bill further to amend the Electoral Rolls Act, 1974 (The Electoral Rolls (Amendment) Bill, 2015 be passed.
Sheikh Aftab Ahmed also moved the bill further to amend the Delimitation of Constituencies Act, 1974 (The Delimitation of Constituencies (Amendment) Bill, 2015) be passed.
Minister for Science and Technology, Rana Tanveer Hussain moved the bill to establish the Pakistan Halal Authority to promote trade and commerce in Halal articles and processes (The Pakistan Halal Authority Bill, 2015, be passed.
Minister for Law and Justice, Senator Pervaiz Rashid moved the bill to ensure publication of the text of the laws of Pakistan free from errors of representation, updating and printing (The Publication of Laws of Pakistan Bill, 2015) be passed.
