ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan would hold a meeting of provincial Chief Election Commissioners to review arrangements of second phase of Local Government Elections in Punjab, Sindh and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) on Wednesday.
The Chief Election Commissioner Justice (r) Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan will chair the meeting and Joint Secretary of Local Government Elections including Provincial Election Commissioners of Punjab and Sindh will brief about the preparations of LG elections in the second phase.
The meeting will also discuss the shortcomings of the first phase LG elections held on October 31, said spokesman of the ECP.
He said the Additional Secretaries of Training and Administration will also brief the commission about recent situations of ballot papers, material and funds.
